HAN SPACES ETİLER

The terrace and street level social spaces designed for HAN Spaces Etiler were developed with an approach that extends coworking culture beyond interior environments, transforming outdoor areas into active parts of the workplace experience. Designed by Toros and Partners, the project focuses on creating flexible and multifunctional open spaces that support both productivity and social interaction.

The terrace was planned to accommodate various scenarios throughout the day. A stepped amphitheater layout allows for yoga sessions, open-air cinema screenings, community gatherings, and small-scale events, encouraging collective use while maintaining spatial flexibility. Informal seating arrangements enable users to spend time individually or come together in shared experiences.

At street level, social areas were conceived as an interface between the coworking environment and the city. Open seating zones integrated into pedestrian flow create opportunities for spontaneous encounters, short breaks, and informal meetings, strengthening the connection between the workspace and urban life.

Material and landscape decisions focused on durable, natural surfaces suitable for outdoor use. The result is a dynamic social environment that evolves throughout the day, supporting the collaborative and community-driven identity of HAN Spaces.
