Located in Zekeriyaköy, The Sun House is a residential villa project designed and implemented by Toros and Partners, shaped around the family’s preference for a calm and minimalist living environment. Developed within a contemporary villa design approach, the project focuses on spatial clarity and comfort, creating a balanced interior atmosphere free from visual excess.
A greyscale material palette was adopted throughout the interiors, allowing different shades of grey to interact with natural textures and daylight. Fluid spatial transitions and an open planning strategy enhance the perception of openness while supporting everyday living routines. The landscape design was conceived as a natural extension of the architecture, strengthening the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Artworks by Cansu Ece Arslan were integrated into the living areas, adding a subtle artistic layer that complements the restrained architectural language. The Sun House presents a contemporary residential environment shaped by simplicity, proportion, and a quiet sense of comfort.
